Description

The Monteiro Albuquerque family has been producing wines for over 100 years across seven generations. In 2006, the fifth generation of the Monteirinhos launched a producer‑bottler project under their own brand, re‑ordering and re‑structuring the vineyards and building a new, modern winery. The first wine hit the market in 2013, the Quinta dos Monteirinhos – Tinto 2010, followed by the first blended wine in 2014. This agricultural project seeks, on one hand, to honor the heritage of a Beira Alta farming family, and on the other, to promote the excellence and elegance of Dão wines. (Illustrative image only)
