The Monteiro Albuquerque family has been producing wine for over 100 years, spanning seven generations. In 2006, the fifth generation of the Monteirinhos decided to launch a producer‑bottler project under their own brand, involving the restructuring and reorganization of the vineyards and the construction of a new, modern winery. The first wine was released to the market in 2013, the Quinta dos Monteirinhos – Tinto 2010, followed by the first blended wine in 2014. This agricultural project aims to honor the history of an agricultural family from Beira Alta while simultaneously promoting the excellence and elegance of Dão wines. (illustrative image only)
