“This Talentus Altitude from Quinta Seara D’Ordens is a wine clearly born from a serious amount of manual labour – you can almost feel the effort in every sip! Fermented on foot in the lagar, with a traditional foot-pasting technique, it promises a wine brimming with character, no doubt thanks to some impressively strong hands. Following 16 months ageing in used 500L French oak barriques with regular batonnage, the wine then spent a further 12 months in bottle, further refining its elegance. The blend of grapes certainly adds to its complexity – a beautifully balanced white, perfect for pairing with oysters or grilled white fish.”
