Ravasqueira A special wine that pays tribute to the José de Mello family through the production of a reserve that originates from precision viticulture and the careful selection of parcels that best represent the profile of this red wine. The Ravasqueira Reserva da Família Tinto results from an in‑depth analysis of the vineyard, from which the plots of the varieties that stood out most in terms of elegance, concentration and character were chosen—pillar characteristics of this Reserve range. The unique soils and topography of Monte da Ravasqueira highlight vineyard zones with greater balance and potential, allowing them to be separated to create this wine. **Soil type:** Clay‑limestone, with a granite and slate rock influence. **Viticulture:** Planting density: 7 t/ha. Manual harvest. Grapes are transported in 20‑kg boxes and stored at 5 °C for 24 hours in a refrigerated chamber. **Vinification:** Manual selection of clusters on a chosen bed. Syrah: fermented in open vats with automatic pressing and intense extraction. Touriga Nacional: fermented in stainless‑steel tanks at 24 °C to preserve freshness and aromatic exuberance.
