“This Rcv Vintage certainly seems to have been lost in thought. The nose immediately announces itself with a bold burst of wild red berries – it’s as if the entire summer has been preserved in a jar. There’s a mysterious hint of black plum lurking beneath. On the palate, it’s undeniably decadent, like a fruit bonbon, yet underpinned by remarkably firm tannins, suggesting it's destined for a remarkably long life. Definitely a wine best enjoyed with a rich chocolate cake, or perhaps just savored quietly – a contemplative companion.”
