This Réccua, aged for 10 years, is a real showstopper – it scooped a Gold medal from Vini International. The deep amber colour, with flashes of red, hints at the complexity you’ll find on the nose, a beautiful blend of dried fruits, nuts, and a subtle hint of cinnamon, really transporting you to the heart of the Douro Valley. It’s a powerfully structured wine with remarkable longevity, and would pair wonderfully with a good Manchego cheese, I’d imagine.
