The bottles of old wines may show traces of dust and damaged labels, which is normal for their age. Garrafeira Nacional is obliged to store all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, but it always chooses to preserve the visual appearance that comes with age. We select brands/regions that, on average, reveal distinct characteristics in tastings of old wines. However, we inform you that wine is a living organism that, even when sealed in a bottle, its aromas are subject to various evolutions over time. Therefore, Garrafeira Nacional cannot be held responsible for the product’s quality, as it is an aged wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine aerate first, as this will help release its natural aromas after so many years closed.
