Description

The vineyards of René Bouvier are located in the village of Marsannay, in Côte de Nuit, and have been family‑owned for four generations. Today, his son, Bernard Bouvier, runs the 12‑hectare estate, blending Burgundy traditions with modern viticultural technology. Currently 13 different appellations are produced, all managed with biological methods, without fertilizers and with only minimal amounts of sulfur and other treatments. The entire harvest is carefully hand‑picked, followed by barrel fermentation and aging in oak barrels for 12 to 18 months, 33 % of which is in new wood. The wine shows excellent aging potential, fruit‑rich and deep, with a genuine sense of power. (Illustrative image only)
