This Quinta do Gradil Reserva – a robust red from the Lisboa region – certainly delivers a compelling blend of tradition and a touch of daring. The native grapes, rooted in this local terroir, offer a wonderfully intense and fruity character, evoking the very essence of the vineyards. Expect a vibrant acidity and well-structured tannins; it’s a fantastic match for black pork dishes, really enhancing their richness. And, of course, coming from a quinta recognised by the Confraria do Vinho do Porto, it’s a wine deserving of a proper tasting.
