This “Respiro Altitude” isn’t a wine you’ll want to gulp down – it’s a wine to savour, really. Crafted from native Arinto and Roupeiro grapes grown at altitudes between 550 and 675 metres in the Serra de São Mamede, it’s a testament to both nature's patience and the Afonso family’s long-standing tradition. It’s a fantastic example of “Slow Wine,” where the wine's evolution is just as crucial as its flavour. Produced in just 1300 bottles a year, it encourages you to slow down and appreciate the incredible complexity that only a unique terroir and minimal intervention can deliver. Seriously, it’s superb with game or roasted poultry – watch those layers unfold!
