This Rola Late Harvest certainly seems to have enjoyed a rather intimate relationship with noble rot – it’s clear nature played a significant part in its creation. The ageing in oak barrels, combined with the late harvest of the botrytised grapes, yields a remarkably vibrant and refreshing white wine, finishing with a subtle tangerine note and a hint of spice. A wine with real character, perfect alongside fresh sheep’s cheese or a dark chocolate mousse.
