Since 1999, the company has been part of the Vranken Pommery Monopole Group, and Rozès has a centuries‑old connection to the Douro. It was the first Port export group to settle in the Demarcated Douro Region, and has since cemented its presence in national and international markets, impressing with masterful wines that highlight complete control over all viticultural stages—from vine planting to ageing and bottling. Founded in Bordeaux in 1855 by Ostende Rozès, a fine wine merchant from that city, the company originally imported and sold Port wine.
