São Luiz DOC Douro For many years, at Quinta de São Luiz the tradition dictated that the walls be painted white. These authentic pieces of history support the vines and embody the wisdom of many generations. To honor this terroir of excellence, Kopke has revived the wall‑painting tradition and now signs its DOC Douro wines as São Luiz. The heritage of the past, combined with present innovation, gives these wines a singular character. Savour the story of a white‑lined Douro. Pectin maceration for approximately 10 hours, followed by fermentation in French oak barrels.
