Nestled in the slopes of Erden, in the Mosel region, this wine hails from vineyards dating back over 130 years, originating from the renowned Erdener Treppacher Riesling. Built upon the foundations of a Roman winery dating back to the 2nd century AD, rediscovered in 1998, this 2013 Riesling boasts a fascinating history. Following eight years of aging on the lees in a foudre, it’s bottled without racking or filtration, achieving a perfectly balanced and harmonious character – a truly remarkable vintage.
