Seisdedos Ricardo is a monovarietal Rufete wine drawn from a selection of vineyards planted between 1930 and 1950 in the Vale de Valdeáguila region of Garcibuey. It spends a brief stint in new oak barrels from Serra de França, lending subtle toasted nuances that sit in the background behind the dominant, ripe fruit. The label showcases a young Ricardo Seisdedos Maíllo, the winemaker’s maternal grandfather, a man who was resource‑poor in his early years yet had enough class to wear a three‑piece suit and travel by taxi in the 1950s.
