This “Sem Fim” from the Douro clearly indicates a patient hand in the cellar. The extended cold maceration, blended with Tinta Barroca and Touriga Nacional, delivers a remarkable freshness. The Aragonez adds a welcome body and ripe fruit character. And those nine months of barrel aging – a rather generous timeframe for the region – have resulted in a remarkably smooth and layered wine, perfect with a hearty grilled beef or a beautiful slow-roasted suckling pig.
