Sidónio de Sousa This wine comes from a vineyard situated south of the town of Ancas, in the municipality of Anadia, within the privileged zone of Figueira da Costa. The vineyard enjoys east‑west sun exposure, with clay and limestone soils. The climate is moderately Mediterranean, featuring mild winters and temperate summers, creating ideal conditions in a transition zone where Atlantic and Mediterranean influences merge. The vineyard follows an Integrated Production system. **Winemaking** The grapes are crushed with partial destemming and chilled in the cellar, in small open tanks where skin maceration begins and, subsequently, fermentation occurs without the addition of enzymes or yeasts. The maceration is performed manually using wooden masses to enhance the extraction of the varietal characteristics. **Maturation** After fermentation in the small open tanks, the wine is transferred to concrete vats and stainless‑steel tanks, where it rests until January of the following year. At that time, it is clarified and racked into 4,000‑liter oak barrels seasoned with national oak, where it ages for 12 months. **Winemaker:** Paulo Sousa. Allergen information: Contains sulfites.
