According to its age, the wines may show marks left by time, such as dust residues on the bottles and/or some damage to the labels, a common occurrence in wines that have been stored for decades. The National Cellar commits to storing all wines at the correct temperature and humidity but always opts to preserve the visual appearance inherent to their age. We typically select brands/regions that normally perform well in old wine tastings. However, wine is a living organism that, like others, is exposed to time, and even inside a bottle, aromas are subject to different evolutions. Thus, the National Cellar cannot be held responsible for the wine's quality, as it is an old wine. Our recommendation is to open and let the bottle aerate beforehand, as this will help release the wine’s natural aromas after so many years closed.
