Unique 89‑year‑old plot with about 40 indigenous Douro varieties. The harvest was carried out under perfect weather on 14 September. The grapes were carefully selected and destemmed, then fermented in a foot‑pounding tank for 10 days. Malolactic fermentation took place in French oak barrels for 20 months. The result is a complex, sophisticated wine with great harmony, rich and pure with notes of black cherry, sour cherry, and spices, underlined by intense minerality. On the palate it is concentrated and elegant, with perfect tannins, fruit prominently present, and an exceptionally long finish.
