Nestled in northern Piedmont, under the shadow of the Alps, Paolo de Marchi and his son Luca are breathing new life into the historic Lessona area – a region steeped in a long wine-making heritage. This blend primarily utilises Nebbiolo grapes, complemented by a touch of Vespolina and Croatina, traditionally added to soften the fruit and enhance colour. The result is a remarkably elegant and approachable Nebbiolo, far more delicate than those from Barolo or Barbaresco, boasting lovely floral notes.
