This wine, hailing from a vineyard with a seriously impressive history, seems to have had a wonderfully spirited youth. The fermentation, eschewing traditional lees contact, has resulted in a vibrant, almost playfully unrestrained character. Predominantly Antão Vaz, it bursts with citrus notes – think blush orange – complemented by a delicate herbal influence, a clear echo of the Alentejo terroir. A remarkably fresh and characterful wine; ideally enjoyed with grilled fish or a Mediterranean fruit salad.
