Sharing moments, ideas and experiences with other winemakers or people connected to wine is something Susana Esteban has always liked and encouraged. For this reason she created the Sidecar brand. Every year the producer and winemaker challenges a friend to make a wine in their cellar in Mora. They decide how to interpret the region’s fantastic vineyards, and as the project mentor says, they’ll be the ones riding the motorcycle! To celebrate the 10th edition, Dirk Niepoort, who produced the first Sidecar, was invited back to craft this wine from grapes sourced from a single centenary vineyard in the Serra de São Mamede.
