Susana Esteban is one of Portugal’s most decorated enologists. Her brilliant creations stay in memory, and her collaborations showcase the best of Portuguese winemaking. She began her career in 1999 and launched her Alentejo project in 2011 when she acquired her first vineyard plots. In 2012 she received the country’s most prestigious accolade for an enologist, “Enólogo do Ano,” from *Revista de Vinhos*, and was, until that time, the only woman to receive the honor.
