Susana Esteban is one of Portugal’s most decorated oenologists. Her ingenious creations linger in memory, while her collaborations showcase the finest of Portuguese winemaking. She began her journey in 1999 and launched her Alentejo project in 2011, when she purchased her first vineyard plots. In 2012 she earned Portugal’s most prestigious accolade for an oenologist, the “Enólogo do Ano” title from Revista de Vinhos, and remains the only woman to have received this honor.
