Susana Esteban is one of the winemakers in Portugal who has won the most awards. Her brilliant creations remain in the memory, and her collaborations reveal the best that is being done in the world of Portuguese wines. She began her career in 1999, and in 2011 she established her project in Alentejo, when she acquired her first vineyard plots. In 2012, she was awarded the most prestigious honor a winemaker can receive in Portugal, the title of "Winemaker of the Year," given by Revista de Vinhos, and to date she is the only woman to have received this distinction.
