Susana Esteban is one of the Portuguese winemakers who has won the most awards. Her brilliant creations stay in memory, and her partnerships showcase what’s best in the world of Portuguese wines. She began her journey in 1999, and in 2011 she launched her project in Alentejo, acquiring her first vineyard plots. In 2012 she received the most prestigious award a winemaker can earn in Portugal, the title of “Winemaker of the Year” from Revista de Vinhos, and she has been the only woman to receive this distinction to date.
