Description

This “Tira o Véu” from Susan Esteban certainly seems to have indulged in a little too much romanticism – a nine-month veil-over ageing in amphora certainly contributes to that! The result is a white wine that promises, at the very least, to inspire some ponderings about the passage of time and the secrets of the Alentejo terroir. Seriously intriguing, and perhaps best enjoyed with some fresh sheep’s cheese to really unlock its complexity.
