Susana Esteban’s touch on this Sidecar 2020 delivers a truly remarkable nose, thanks in part to the influence of aged barrels – a blessing from Emmanuel Lassaigne, no less. The result is a complexity that’s almost audible on a vinyl record! On the palate, it’s a sophisticated, yet undeniably soulful, Portuguese jazz performance, best enjoyed with a good soundtrack and a perfectly cooked white fish.
