Born high in the Dão, this Encruzado is a surprisingly powerful and graceful wine. The granite soils, shaped by millennia, give it a solid structure and a wonderfully smooth texture. The influence of new French oak – 50% of them – adds layers of complexity and a lovely hint of white fruit. A truly promising bottle, perfect with fresh fish or white meat – a little indulgence for the discerning palate.
