This Talhas, from Mestre Daniel Tareco Palhete, is a genuine journey through the Alentejo – a reminder that sometimes, letting time do its thing is the best approach. The Baga grapes really shine here, boasting a wonderfully vibrant acidity alongside those generously textured tannins. There’s a lovely Garnacha influence too, adding a welcome layer of complexity, reminiscent of the region’s ancient terroirs. It’s a fantastic match with a good, slow-cooked black lamb – a truly soulful Alentejo expression.
