This “Tapada dos Monges Verde” is a delightful surprise. Quinta de Marialva, rooted in the Arcadia sub-region, delivers a luscious sweet wine – surprisingly vibrant thanks to the Fernão Mendes grape. It’s a light, honeyed wine with notes of dried fruit, reminiscent of the renowned São Vicente de Castelo Branco. Seriously, a fantastic match with some good Manchego, or even a well-executed arroz doce.
