The base is a dense black‑fruit coulis, with notes of wild raspberries, cassis and black cherry. The voluptuous fruit richness is tempered by an alluring mineral stone and the subtle pungency of wild herbs and cedarwood. As the wine evolves, evocative aromas emerge – beeswax, leather, cigar box – like unexpected resonances of an old instrument.
