This Teima wine, living up to its mischievous name, hails from the rugged slopes of the Serra de São Mamede – a true testament to the region’s tenacious character. Grown on vines ranging from 500 to 700 metres, and nurtured by granite soils, it delivers a remarkable freshness. Harvested recently and fermented with whole berries, followed by 20 months ageing in used oak barrels, it’s a full-bodied red with plenty of complexity. Seriously, it’s a fantastic match for game or a hearty roast – a truly satisfying pairing.
