Don't expect fireworks from this – it’s a deeply honest wine that really captures the spirit of the Douro. It conjures up images of olive groves, with that bright acidity perfect for dipping crusty bread in olive oil. Made with a blend of Touriga Nacional and Mencía, this wine was even awarded a medal at the Wine & Spirit Awards – a testament to its natural balance. I’d recommend pairing it with black pork, to really highlight its complex character.
