Description

This is a red wine produced from Syrah grapes, aged for about 20 months in French oak barrels. It presents a vibrant red colour, with notes of red fruit and a touch of earthiness on the nose. On the palate it also displays red fruit, some minerality, and a pleasant, lingering finish. Tenimenti d'Alessandro was acquired in 1967 by the d’Alessandro family and is located in Manzano, Tuscany. The estate covers 30 hectares, with Syrah being the most planted variety, followed by Viognier and Sangiovese. Today, Tenimenti d’Alessandro is run by the Calabresi family, committed to bringing the best Tuscan Syrah to the world.
