Terras de Alter, Companhia de Vinhos, Lda. is made up of the Sociedade Agrícola das Antas, the Sociedade Agrícola do Monte Barrão—both long‑standing agricultural companies in Alto Alentejo, Portalegre—and the Sociedade Pink Living, owned by winemaker Peter Bright. The two societies joined forces and, to complement their venture, forged a close partnership with Bright, whose extensive experience in international wine production and marketing brings added expertise. Terras de Alter uses grapes grown by its partners in the Alter do Chão and Fronteira regions, supplementing with selections from Alto Alentejo as needed. Its mission is to be a family‑run enterprise offering quality wines with an international footprint, recognised for its excellence and focused on developing premium Portuguese brands. The company boasts a unique market positioning and a long‑term vision grounded in wine quality, presentation, and the novelty of the brands it markets.
