Description

Produced from the Gewürztraminer grape, this highly aromatic white wine showcases a bright citrine hue, with aromas of lychee and roses. On the palate it is enveloping, full-bodied, fresh, and finishes with an intense, long, and persistent finish. The Wine Indigenus project, led by Cristiano Pires, was born in the demarcated region of Trás‑os‑Montes, in the sub‑region of the Mirandese Plateau, where the history of vine cultivation and wine production—though forgotten over time—has a centuries‑old origin dating back to Roman and pre‑Roman periods. Today, Cristiano is supported by Rute Gonçalves and Francisco Gonçalves, producing the Terras de Mogadouro wines from the 50 hectares already acquired. Together with their enological expertise and passion for wine that bonds these young entrepreneurs, the winery also benefits from the technology and equipment available for crafting differentiated, structured, and elegant wines.
