The bottles of aged wines may show traces of dust and damaged labels, as expected with their age. The National Wine Cellar commits to storing all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, but always chooses to preserve the visual appearance inherent to their age. We select brands and regions that, in general, reveal distinct characteristics when tasting old wines. However, we inform you that wine is a living organism that, even inside a bottle, its aromas evolve over time. Accordingly, the National Wine Cellar cannot be held responsible for the product quality, as it is an aged wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine breathe first, which helps release its natural aromas after many years of closure. If you choose to decant the wine before serving, do so patiently to detect any sediment that an old wine tends to develop. (illustrative image)
