The Terras do Avô wines tell a story. Duarte Caldeira, the mentor of this project, decided to launch his own brand, Terras do Avô. With winemaking handled by Paulo Laureano and João Pedro Machado, Terras do Avô produces two Colheita and two Grande Escolha vintages, the latter only bottled in years when the harvest quality justifies it. The whites are made exclusively from Verdelho grapes, while the reds come from lots of Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, and Syrah.
