The vineyard, boasting over 55 years of history and a fascinating blend of Baga grapes – lending a wonderfully expressive character – delivers a vibrant burst of fresh fruit, with notes of cherry and blackberry, subtly spiced. The use of indigenous yeasts during fermentation, alongside extended maceration in a French oak balseiro, highlights the wine’s incredible mineral complexity and silky tannins. After 16 months aging in French oak barrels, this wine presents a remarkably long and layered finish; it’s particularly well-suited to pairing with game meats or a robust beef.”
