From the outset, the focus has been on hunting for old vines in the most genuine, least explored corners of the Douro, where new stories could be told through wine. It all began at the slope of Serra do Reboredo (1,000 metres above sea level) in Paredes da Beira, the highest point in the Douro. Surrounded by abundant granite outcrops, the area boasts sandy granite soils threaded with quartz veins, an altitude ranging from 700 to 1,000 metres, situated on the slopes of the Távora River, and houses a remarkable heritage of century‑old vines that have remained untouched over time and been tended by hands through generations of hard work. From here emerge wines of great freshness, character, and identity! The aim will always be to bring out the best the vine offers, respecting its history, tradition, and the essence of its people.
