Vale dos Mil Red Wine was produced from old vines. It was aged for 16 months in small clay vessels. The wine displays a ruby colour with a reddish‑brown tinge. Its aroma is expressive, featuring balsamic notes, fresh red fruit, spice, graphite and a touch of pottery. It offers great texture and volume, with a robust taste and silky, firm tannins. Pair it with strongly flavoured dishes such as red meat, game, roasts cooked in a wood‑fired oven, and cheese.
