Tokaj Classic Winery is situated in the heart of the Mád region, where its wines are produced from volcanic and post‑volcanic terroir. The soil is exceptionally rich in rhyolite‑tufa, zeolite, quartz, kaolin and trace elements, which preserve moisture and retain humidity. This unique, highly fertile ground yields wines that are unmistakably bright in acidity, a hallmark of quality sweet wines. Over the past 20 years the cellar has exported its highly regarded wines to numerous countries. While sweet wines have traditionally dominated production, recent years have seen a growing interest in dry styles, broadening the range to include dry wines that capture the same exceptional characteristics of this distinctive terroir.
