This Touriga Franca, hailing from the Vinha do Ancoradouro in the Alentejo, is a delightful surprise. Initially, it presents an earthy, damp soil character alongside vibrant fresh fruit notes, before revealing a subtle, well-integrated oak influence – clearly benefiting from some thoughtful ageing. On the palate, it’s remarkably complex and structured, with smooth, mature tannins, suggesting a careful maturation process. Perfect with grilled red meats, particularly a lovely aubergine.
