This white wine is produced from Rabigato, Códega do Larinho and Arinto grapes, hand‑picked and fermented solely in stainless‑steel tanks. It presents a citrine colour with greenish nuances, offering aromas of tropical fruit and white‑pulped fruit. On the palate it is fruity, fresh and persistent. Quinta do Reguengo is located in the Douro Superior sub‑region along the Douro River in Pocinho, Vila Nova de Foz Côa, characterised by clay‑silty soils with granite outcrops. These soils, combined with varying altitudes, exposures and grape varieties, are influenced by warm, humid valley breezes and cooler Spanish winds, creating excellent conditions for regular grape ripening. The winemaking is handled by Pedro Branco, also behind the Família Silva Branco wines. (illustrative image)
