Vale da Pia red wine is made from Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca, hand‑picked and fermented in stainless‑steel tanks. It displays a bright ruby hue, with concentrated aromas of red fruit and wild berries. In the mouth it is round and harmonious. The Quinta do Reguengo is situated in the Douro Superior sub‑region, along the Douro River in Pocinho, Vila Nova de Foz Côa, characterised by clay‑rich soils with granite outcrops. These soils, together with varying altitudes, exposures and grape varieties, are shaped by warm, humid winds from the Douro Valley and cooler breezes from Spain, creating ideal conditions for regular grape ripening. Winemaking is overseen by Pedro Branco, who also spearheads the Família Silva Branco wines.
