"Terroir" wine obtained from old vines between 60 and over 100 years old, situated on slopes 650 meters above sea level on poor soil in granitic sand, in a mixture of red varieties where Rufete, Baga and Folha Figueira predominate Quinta do Vale Ruico Vinhas Velhas presents intense color, complex aroma of ripe fruit, with hints of rock rose, pine and dried grass. Smooth tannins and long finish. Suitable for keeping for several years. Ideal serving temperature of 16 to 18ºC. Pairs well with red meats, stews and roasts.
