The Casal de Vale Pradinhos is a 450‑hectare agricultural estate founded in 1913 and owned by the Pinto de Azevedo family ever since. The wines produced here combine indigenous varieties such as Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Amarela and Malvasia Fina with renowned international grapes, namely Cabernet Sauvignon, Gewürztraminer and Riesling. Maria Antónia Pinto de Azevedo Mascarenhas, great‑granddaughter of the founder Manoel Pinto de Azevedo, is the current owner of Casal de Vale Pradinhos. She has been implementing her vision in the wines made since taking control of the property in 1994.
