This Vallegre Reserva Rosé has clearly been a bit of a handful, spending a solid 18 months in French oak – quite a commitment for a rosé, wouldn’t you say? It’s aiming for complexity, drawing on the robust terroir of the Douro. Expect a wine with a serious backbone. Would pair beautifully with grilled sardines to cut through the acidity.
