Continuing the family tradition of preserving native Galician varieties and with a desire to create a wine that showcases the elegance of the María Ardoña grape, Francisco Prada Gayoso, president of Bodegas Valdelsil, planted the small vineyard in Portela in the mid‑1980s from which this red wine comes. An interesting, tasty, fruit‑forward wine with spicy notes that expresses the special mineralism of its original soil.
