Born from a 70-year-old vineyard in Murça, this VZ Douro Branco is a testament to patience and a truly considered approach. Cristiano van Zeller and Joana Pinhão have expertly blended indigenous grapes – Viosinho, Rabigato, Códega de Larinho, Gouveio and Arinto – creating a remarkably refined wine. It’s a fantastic partner for creamy cheeses or, of course, a classic Portuguese bacalhau, and promises a lovely evolution in the bottle.
